The beginning of the new year is the starting point for a new network made up of innovative small and medium enterprises, leading research institutions and further partners. In a first phase, the network “Plastic Free Waters” (acronym “PlaWas”) will be supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) for one year.
The focus for 2018 will be on establishing a solid network structure, the elaboration of a technological roadmap within the network and on substantiating the existing project ideas – ideally handing in first project requests in the ZIM program.
